Digital Music Can Gain The Interest Of Even Those Who Normally Would Not Enjoy Such A Thing

Most people today love their ability to enjoy listening to digital music, however, it is sometimes quite surprising to see what type of individuals that are now also getting in on the action. Some people that you would normally never imagine listening to any type of digital music for any reason at all are even enjoying their little wonderful digital music devices that have been out on the market for quite some time now.

People of all colors, ages, sex, etc, are listening to digital music and loving every minute of it, there is just no doubt about that, music is our life, music is everything to so many of us! Digital music has definitely improved the options that we have had made available to us, whenever it comes to actually listening to all of the great songs that we have always loved, as well as plenty of the new and most popular songs.

If you are cleaning the house, washing the vehicles, playing with your children, hanging out with your spouse or other friends, there is just always a perfect time for you all to enjoy listening to digital music of some sorts together. Digital music always has a place in our days that pass us by, and I can not think of anything any better than a fantastically written song by an incredibly talented musician.

People, including those higher up in our society, or atleast they are considered to be anyways, they are enjoying their digital music just as much as you and I are enjoying listening to ours. During the years, many singles that were seen as too explicit, distasteful or bear the potential for offending the British public were banned from BBC airplay. Here you can read about some of them.

In 1977, when England was celebrating the Queens Jubilee, the Sex Pistols had released their second single titled God Save the Queen. The single includes controversial lyrics that rhyme the national anthem title with fascist regime. Moreover, the record cover displayed a picture of the Queen with a safety pin stuck in her nose.

The single was found to offensive to be air played by the BBC, but it did not stop it from reaching number two on the BBC official singles chart. According to the myth, God Save the Queen was the top selling single in the UK at the time, but it was held back of number one to avoid controversies.

The BBC ban and The Vatican denounce, did not stop Je TAime … Moi Non Plus from being a top selling single in the UK and worldwide. In October 7, 1969, the single reached number one in the BBC official singles chart. At the same time, it had reached number 69 at the US singles chart.

Je TAime … Moi Non Plus was a major influence on another BBC banned single, Donna Summers disco pioneer from 1976 titled Love to Love You Baby. After counting 23 faked orgasms performed by Summer in Love to Love You Baby, the British Broadcasting Corporation banned the song. However, it did not stop it from becoming a massive hit. Love to Love You Baby reached number four on the UK single charts but peaked to number two on the Billboard pop chart.

Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood is one of the most controversial singles as well as commercially successful singles in history. The BBC did not only ban the song it also did not stop BBC Radio 1 DJ Mike Read to publicly express his feelings of disgust from the single’s explicit lyrics. In 1984, Relax stayed in the UK singles charts for 42 weeks. In five of them, it stayed in number one. By the end of 1984, embarrassed Auntie Beeb removed the ban. Relax is still very popular worldwide and it is one of the most recognized symbols of the era. The arguments on whether it gained such a huge success despite the BBC ban or the BBC ban helped promoting it have not been settled yet.

Paul McCartney and the Wings response to the 1972 Bloody Sunday events titled Give Ireland Back to the Irish, was banned by every media resource in the UK. It was forbidden from being broadcast by the BBC, Radio Luxembourg and the Independent Television Authority. In addition, the song title was not allowed to be pronounced on the air, so when it arrived to the BBC Radio 1 chart show it was presented as a record by the group Wings. However, Give Ireland Back to the Irish hit the top of the Irish singles charts.

Is Digital Music Really As Amazing As Its Made Out To Be

Is digital music really worth all of its hype that it constantly receives? Perhaps it is, I do not know really, what do you all really think about it and do you feel that it is truly worthy of its obviously amazing recognition? Throughout this article I want to go over a few things with you regarding digital music and provide you with some different questions that you too might want to ask yourself before believing all of this hype about digital music and how its the greatest thing going today.

Digital music is quite unique and yes, it does make things easier and more convenient. However, with all of that said, is it really all that amazing really? What about the old record players that played those huge records? Me myself, I still think that those things were and are still truly unbelievably amazing and deserve all of the hype that they ever received or still are getting even today.

No matter how incredible digital music is, I am still an avid observer of what pertains to good music and what type of device really deserves all of that fabulous talk that has been going on with the whole digital music thing. Digital music does rock but what about when you listened to your all time favorite bands on 8 track players. How freaking awesome were 8 track players? Me personally, I still believe them to be quite an incredible and unique invention. I still remember listening to my moms 8 track player whenever I was just a little girl and I will never forget that either.

For me, things such as those pieces of equipment, they truly deserve hype, they deserve recognition of some sort, they deserve wows and praise and they should and are still being used by so many people believe it or not. The quality might be a little bit or a lot different than from what you receive whenever you are listening to digital music but does the new and improved and incredible digital music have that raw sound that you remember when you listened to an old album playing or whenever your mommy put in her favorite 8 track into her 8 track player? I really, truly, and most honestly, do not believe so.

Too many things are changing and sometimes it can be very exhausting trying to keep up with all of the incredible and scary changes being made. Digital music is just another change in our lives that we are going to have to get used to but some of us might not agree that it is all that it is cracked up to be, believe it or not!

Stick to your guns on this people, you do not have to agree with the majority of people out there, be yourself, you are an individual not a group of people trying to make a choice. Digital music is crystal clear and definitely amazing, but some things are just better left untouched, you know what I mean?
